2021-2022 Colloquium Series

Dear colleagues,

This is the invitation and announcement for our regular TSWG Friday events this term. Sorry we are a little late, but we have been focusing on the organization of our international Conference, Tourism and Musical Imaginaries, to take place in Berkeley, 24-26th March.

The following dates are available during our Spring series:

  • February 4 (after 3.00 pm), 11, 18, 25
  • March 4, 11, 18
  • April 1, 22, 27
  • May 6, 13

We will have our meetings normally 4-6 pm, except for when we have speakers in Europe, in which case the time can be 2-4 pm Pacific time. When the speaker is from Berkeley or the local Bay Area, we can have meetings in person in the Anthropology Building (ex-Kroeber Hall) in the Gifford Room or the Lounge #219 with Zoom for non-local participants. Otherwise our meetings will be on Zoom, as last year.

Please write to us with your suggestions and questions. Preference will go to those who already suggested that they would give a talk. We can also have multi-person debates, mini-symposia or other formats.

We look forward to hearing from you, and seeing you - online or in person.
