organized “Architecture and Tourism” Conference in Paris, July 2017

Please attend the meeting or write to graburn@berkeley.edu and mahlon@allstrangeaway.com as soon as you can about the possibility of your giving a talk or organizing an event this academic year. It is most important if you have to give the talk in the Fall Semester, before the Christmas break. Preference is given to those who will leave Berkeley soon, and then to those who have not given a talk recently. Please let us know (roughly) your topic, your state of progress, and any time/date constraints. All talks will be on Fridays 5-7 pm if possible.

We already have some talks scheduled or planned in the fall. The first is on September 15th, 2017

Prof. Hiraoki Matsuura (Provost and Vice President of Shoin University, Japan) “Post-disaster Tourism Recovery and Community Resilience: Evidence from the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Disaster"

Dr. Amir Gohar will has a session TSWG Comparative Tourism Governmentality project.

Dr. Hongmei Zhao will give a presentation before she leaves in January. *As part of her research at Berkeley she counted and found that our recent talk was number 139 since 2003!

So, please come to the meeting or write to us. There will be no following dinner but bring snacks or anything to celebrate as we move towards our sixteenth year!
